The Cold Ischemia Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit built by care partners, for care partners. We exist because the healthcare system produces reports, guidelines, and patient portals — none of which address the person managing everything outside the clinic door.
We develop AI-powered tools grounded in real clinical and operational frameworks — Lean Six Sigma, Narrative Therapy, Statistical Process Control, Ambiguous Loss Theory, Motivational Interviewing — applied not to patients but to the care partners keeping them alive.
